Return & Refund Policy
At La vita è bella Italian Bakery, we take great pride in the quality and freshness of our homemade Italian cookies and baked goods. Each item is made with care in our home kitchen under South Carolina’s Cottage Food Law.
Because our products are perishable and made-to-order, we do not accept returns or offer refunds on baked goods once they have been picked up or shipped.
Damaged or Incorrect Orders
If your order arrives damaged or if you received the wrong item, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery at orders@lavitaebellabakery.com with a photo of the issue. We will do our best to make it right by offering a replacement or store credit, depending on the situation.
Please note:
- We are not responsible for delays or damage caused by the postal carrier.
- Once a package leaves our hands, we have no control over its handling during shipping.
Cancellations
You may cancel your order up to 24 hours after placing it for a full refund, as long as the baking process has not started. After this window, we cannot issue a refund since ingredients and time are already dedicated to your order.
Local Pickup Policy
If you select local pickup and fail to pick up your order on the scheduled day, we cannot issue a refund. Please make sure to pick up your treats during the agreed timeframe, as they are made fresh and will not be resold.
Gift Orders
If you send a gift and there’s a problem with the order (such as damage during shipping), the recipient should contact us within 24 hours. We’ll work with you to find a reasonable solution.
